Welcome to Urban Chickens!
"Dedicated to promoting backyard chickens in urban residential landscapes"
It's the hot "cool" thing to do here in Minnesota. It's all "they" talk about. Those of us that live in the suburb's are buying and raising chickens. I love the little buggers and understand the new craze! Heck, we raised snow geese when I was little but we lived on a lake. Please refer to photo below!
What the heck, get out there and buy your chickens! I'm sure they'd enjoy those wooden playset's everyone seems to have in their backyard!
Would you support this new craze? Chicken vs the city.
Happy Monday!

Yeah that is what I really want - a bunch of chicken sh$t in the yard for to hubby track into the house. My Lab would love it though. He'd have feathers flying everywhere.
I'd love to have chickens but I'd be afraid the hawks would get them.
I wanted chickens this year. Just two, enough for a few eggs a week. But hubby said the new veg garden was enough - I hate when he's the voice of reason.
The chickens would not survive long in our back yard. Our lab would kill them in a matter of minutes.
Chickens as pets or chickens to raise - kill - eat?
I say pets!!!!
I do likes me some chicken!

Yeah...I am with Rae...I have enough problems with the neighbors' dog.
We've had chickens. In the aftermath all that was left was feathers and beaks.
go for it - get a rooster too if you hate your neighbor!
That's it !!! Raise those cocks !
