Sounding Forth sent me this cool dog toy for Luna to play with. I saw her pup playing with it on her blog and asked her about it. I've been looking for a rugged toy for Luna.
Luna is 1 and still teething in my opinion. She started out with stuffed animals but she quickly realized she could rip them open and take out their guts and leave it all over my carpet. Luna isn't allowed to have stuffed animals anymore. By the way, Beanie Babies really have beans in them. THOUSANDS OF THEM....that roll nicely all over your kitchen floor and you still find some months later. I don't recommend pups playing with Beanie Babies.
Back to Janie. She was WONDERFUL enough to send Luna 2 of these Indestructible toys. I gave Luna the bone yesterday and she started to shred it to pieces. I took it away from her and thought we'd save it for when we take her to the off leash dog park as a retrieving tool. I told Janie about it and she said "As to the toys...Zanna the Montana also known as Zanna the Destroyer couldn't tear them up. If your pup tears them up I'll send you another. They're supposed to be virtually indestructible. Seriously. That's why they call them tufftoys.
Ultimate Bone™
“Vet Recommended and Approved”
Ultimate Construction: Each toy is made with two layers of industrial grade luggage material and 1 layer of soft fleece on the outside. All of these layers are sewn together to make one super strong layer of material. Each toy is sewn together with 2 layers of cross stitching and then 2 layers of linear stitching. After the toy is sewn together an additional piece of black trim is added to cover the four rows of stitching. This extra piece of black trim is sewn with 3 linear stitches to give the product a total of 7 seams. That's one tough toy! The Ultimate Series are designed to be play toys and not chew toys.
Each toy is washable (air dry) and they Float !

So I gave the bone back to Luna for further testing.
We'll see if she needs a level 10 bone.
Once I get her trained for pheasant hunting I wonder if this is how she'll treat the bird?
Morning note:
We had to take the toy away from her this morning because she wouldn't eat her crunchies.
All she wants is this toy!!!
THANKS JANIE!! We will keep you posted on the destruction progress!!
Happy Hump Day!

I don't think they make toys indestructible for dogs! Sota tears through all levels. If you happen to find a level that works make sure you post it, I will buy one for Sota.
Wow that is awesome and so nice of Janie!!!
Your doggie is so cute!!!
Well, shoot. At the rate she's going, I'd better buy a box load and send them to you!
That's hilarious! Ours still look brand new, and if you search through my blog, you'll see what all Zanna has destroyed.
Puh-lenty!!!
Man oh man... have we seen our share of shredded and delimbed dog toys around here. Nothing is safe.
That is SO cool- and I agree. Janie kicks ass.
and so does your dog.....
my mom's dog has the same toy.. he loves it!
