Eco

Hey, I'm as green as the next guy but does anyone use these goofy light bulbs? I have one in a table lamp and the light it gives off is CRAP! I don't like them at all and I don't care how long they last. They will not be staying in my house. When I need light, I need light! I'm just sayin!

    My husband just bought a bunch of these light bulbs over the weekend. I just said last night, "why are we living in the dark, what is up with these bulbs?" I don't like the real bright bulbs, but I have to be able to see and I can't see anything with these goofy bulbs either!!

    I am embarassed to admit I have not tried these. Now, I guess I am glad that I didn't.

    I use them but you have to buy the daylight balanced ones. Regular flourescent light is awful. Also, they start out dim and over about 45 seconds get brighter. I use them in ceiling lights because those are hard to change and aren't on dimmers. Also they don't get hot like regular bulbs!

    I have some that Janice bought and they make you blind! And she wonders why I like to buy sunglasses.
