Jennifer and Sandi
It's Camp Candid Carrie's Wisconsin weekend!!! This should be fun because I'm not even FROM Wisconsin. I'm from Minnesota. But I love Wisconsin, my boyfriend use to live there, I've traveled through the state numerous times on my way to Florida, Kentucky, Indiana, Chicago and California. Oh wait that's the other way.
Anyway, I'm no expert on Wisconsin. Sorry about that. But what I am an expert on is having a great time and I like WI cheese & football!!!!!! My boyfriend asked me if I wanted to go to Green Bay, WI and attend a Packer game. I replied "HECK YES"!! I love football. Do I love the Packers? Ummmm I'll plead the fifth. My sister, nephew, brother-in-law are HUGE packer fans though I think that counts! No, I'm not even a Vikings fan. I'M A COLTS FAN.... GO PEYTON MANNING!! Okay sorry, back to my Green Bay Packer game.
I can tell you Wisconsin has A LOT of dead deer along the highway. That's gross. We arrived late Friday night and stayed at a friends house. We bar hopped with some of Larry's great friends. That's Larry and I far right.

and then hit the hay.
SATURDAY: Larry played tour guide all day. Green Bay is a lovely town.
Shot some pool too! Had to work that into the mix. We love to shoot pool!
Introduced Larry and his friend to sushi at a Japanese restaurant and
then we called it a day. We had a big day tomorrow.
SUNDAY: TIME TO GET UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Places to go, people to see, beer to drink and a Green Bay Packer game to attend at Lambeau Field.
HAD to go to the Stadium View Bar where all the fun and action was. This is
just across the street from Lambeau Field.

Found another one of Larry's buddies tailgating at the stadium. There's Lambeau in the background. See, just over Kurt's shoulder there!! Hi Larry!!

Making our way to the door.. Sure thanks, we'll have another beer!
Green Bay Packer fans are so nice!!!!!!!!!

We made it!! Here's looking back at those still in line.. hehehehe suckas

THERE'S BRETT FAVRE!! Wave!! Because it's the last time you'll see him there. He's coming over to the Vikings, did you know that? You heard it here first folks!
That's EXACTLY how rumors get started, from me starting them!
Darn lucky Jets.

There's Larry and I leaving the game. Headin back to Minnesota!
THANKS WISCONSIN I HAD A BLAST!!!

Thanks Camp Candid Carrie for sharing my Wisconsin blog with your campers!

Fabulous job, excellant idea to take us tailgating with you. I am so sorry that B.F. didn't make it to the Vikings, but he did get that fancy schmancy key chain from the Mayor of New York. Too bad all the cars that the Green Bay auto dealers gave him had to stay in Wisconsin :(
ReplyDeleteThanks for doing this, Jen! Much appreciated.
You can't have a tour of Wisconsin without talking about the Packers and tailgating:-) Great job:-)

ReplyDeleteHow fun! I would love to go to a game in Green Bay! I saw the Packers play Monday Night Football in Jacksonville a few years ago and it was great - Packers fans are so much fun!
Fun! I love football! It's so much better live than it is on tv, it's all in the atmosphere.
ReplyDeleteHow fun to attend a FB game! Never been to that part of the country!

ReplyDeleteThere is NOTHING like going to a football game. The energy is amazing and totally worth any beer some drunk person might spill on you (lol).

ReplyDeleteYour first Experience was better than mine! We went thinking we could buy tickets at the game and it was completely sold out! We spent the entire game in the Stadium View Bar watching it on TV.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I have met Payton.
What a neat story! Football games really can be a lot of fun. Personally, I don't enjoy watching them on TV at all, but going in person is a whole different experience.
